Susan is the recognized leader in the preservation of Moreland Hill’s rural charm. She guided and kept council members united when the Village took developers all the way to the Supreme Court of Ohio to protect our 2-acre zoning. As mayor, Susan will make certain the Village of Moreland Hills remains a great place in which to live.
Susan truly has been a public servant in Moreland Hills since moving here more than 10 years ago. She served on the Moreland Hills Women’s Committee and worked with the Chagrin River Land Conservancy to identify and conserve tracts of land in Moreland Hills. She also served on the Orange Elder Friendly Communities Task Force, which was designed to enhance and improve the livability of the greater Orange Communities and was project manager for the Forest Ridge Preserve in 2006 and 2007. Susan and her husband, Michael, have been married for 29 years and together they have two adult children, Matt, 27 and Emily, 23. Susan received her PhD in audiology from Kent State University in 1996.
Susan is proud to call Moreland Hills her home, but understands there is more work to be done. |
